Dear Readers,
First and foremost: thank you. Seven thousand of you, across 150 countries, have been reading Geneva Health Files since we launched in 2020. That still amazes us, and it's entirely because of your support that we're able to keep doing this work.
Today we have some exciting news to share. We've moved to a new home at newsletter.genevahealthfiles.com, and we've built it with you in mind.
What does this mean for you?
Very little changes, and what does change is for the better. Your subscription carries over automatically, whether you're a free or paying reader. You'll simply start receiving our emails from a new address. Your archives, your access, your reading experience, all intact.
Until now you received emails from genevahealthfiles@substack.com. You will now be receiving emails from geneva-health-files@ghost.io. (Please check your spam folders in case our newsletters end up there.)
Our new platform runs on Ghost, an open-source publishing infrastructure that gives us greater control over design, features, and the overall experience we can offer you. We've worked hard to keep the reading and browsing experience familiar, while unlocking new features we weren't able to offer before, more on those soon! We are excited to share these developments with you in the coming weeks and months.
We're really proud of this new home. It gives Geneva Health Files its own distinct identity, one that reflects the serious, independent journalism we've always aimed to deliver, without the noise.
Technology is intertwined with our business strategy. We believe this move will give us greater flexibility with respect to design and interface. It also makes commercial and strategic sense. Our new address gives us a distinct brand identity accentuating our journalistic mission, showcasing our work as unique, in the midst of many different voices in global health.
As with any move, there may be the occasional hiccup while we settle in. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this transition together. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any trouble accessing your emails or the archives. We're here and happy to help.
Thank you, as always, for reading and for your trust. Onward to a new chapter!
Warm regards,
Priti Patnaik
